Este 19 de noviembre marcará la vigésima “Celebración Anual de Jóvenes Adultos en Ministerios” en la cual se reconoce las contribuciones que los Jóvenes Adultos hacen a la vida de nuestras comunidades locales de fe. Este año nuestra parroquia ha untitledelegido a:

Delmis Lopez, Bernardo Valdez, Caritina Velasco, y Katy Castillo

La misa de “Celebración de Jóvenes Adultos en Ministerios” será el sábado, 19 de noviembre en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles. Iniciará puntualmente a las 3:30pm y todos son bienvenidos a asistir.

The “Celebrating Young Adults in Ministry” Recognition Mass is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Cathedral of Our lady of the Angels in Los Angles. The celebration begins promptly at 3:30pm. All are welcome to attend.

World Youth Day has begun and our group of 50 youths along with our very own, Fr. Dario Miranda, have made it to Poland! Join us in prayer: that the Lord may fill them with His grace, mercy, love, and gifts to come and bless our communities.

La Jornada Mundial de la Juventud a iniciado y nuestro grupo de más de 50 jóvenes junto con el P. Dario Miranda ¡Ya llegaron a Polonia! Unete a nuestra oración: que el Señor los llene de gracias, misericordia, amor, y muchos regalos para bendicion de nuestras comunidades.

Living out virtue is not an easy task, nor is changing areas of your life that we have grown accustomed to. I’ve encountered many young people who want to rise to the challenge and live out virtue. But they’ve also showed me a major difficulty they face:

“What if our friends don’t agree with virtue?”…

Graduation Mass ????

Graduation Mass ????

Our parish will have a special mass for whom just and will graduate this year. We invite all elementary, middle school, high school, college & university students to come receive a special blessing. You may wear your cap and gown to mass.

It will be on: Sunday, June 5

8:30 for English

10:30 for Spanish

We hope to see all our newly grads there!!

“Come and give thanks to Him from whom all good things flow. ☺️”

Pilgrimage to Holy Land & World Youth Day 2016

Welcome Back Kairos! / ¡Bienvenido de nuevo Kairos!

Welcome back to all the people that participated at our Kairos FUERTE LA this pasted weekend!

It was such a success and we were pleased to have people from all over the country and we thank them for making this trip and come far away from their home to live it with us.  Thank you for those who were able to make this happen and helped many people to continue to grow in their faith. We are very glad everyone came home safe and sound.

¡Bienvenido de nuevo a todas las personas que participaron en nuestra Kairos FUERTE LA este fin de semana pasado!

Fue un éxito y nos quedamos encantados de tener a gente de todo el país y les damos las gracias por hacer este viaje y venir des de lejos de su casa a vivir con nosotros. Gracias por los que fueron capaces de hacer que esto suceda y ayudó a muchas personas a seguir creciendo en su fe. Estamos muy contentos que todos llegró a casa sano y salvo.

Archdiocesan Youth Employment (AYE)

The AYE has nearly 600 paid internship and career training opportunities for youth and young adults, ages 16 through 24, with emphasis on out-of-school youth, including high school dropouts and recent graduates in need of job training. AYE offers an array of job and career services with full- and part-time job placement opportunities. Services will include the following:

  • Job preparation and placement with paid internships and on the job training, Occupational training and credential programs (e.g. nursing assistance, computer training)
  • Educational services: tutoring, tuition assistance, materials, and books
  • youth career and learning centers offer computers, Internet access and other resources
